Teacups are smaller than the regular dogs in their breed and the size varies between the different breeds. Teacup is not a word used by the American Kennel Club(AKC). Therefore a very small poodle is registered as a toy poodle. This is the standard of a poodle as describe by the ​​American Kennel Club. All 'teacup poodle' are registered as 'toy poodle'.

True teacup poodles have been bred for it tiny stature for generations. True teacup poodles are not mix with other tiny breed dogs. True teacup poodles are not runts from large size parents. True teacup poodles are not hard to take care or weak and sick. True teacup poodles are not to limit food intake and activity space. True teacup poodles growing very fast in the first 3 months and stop growing at 5 to 7 months old. Sometimes, fake teacups are smaller than true teacups when they are young but fake teacups can grow until 18 months old. Some bad breeder or bad seller don't let new owner pick up the puppy until 5-6 months of age or they only sell young adult, this is because the puppy needs to limit food intake and activity to become a fake teacup under bad people care. Fake teacup puppies are always poor and become weak and sick due to this reason.

-Very tiny teacup / 2.5lbs and under / 8" and under(6" being average)
-Tiny teacup / 2.5-3.5lbs / 8" and under(7" being average)
-Teacup / 3.5-4.5lbs / 8" and under

🐾How big will my poodle puppy be? 
I have a lot of experience to prove that full grown size absolutely not estimate by the birth weight. We do our very best to estimate adult size based on the weight and height of the puppy at 8, 10, or 12 weeks old, bloodlines, size of the parents and previous litters. There are a lot of poodle size charts and formula from internet, but those charts and formula does not work on Lilliput. Lilliput puppies are growing very fast in the first three months, if you use the size chat from internet, most of them will classified to tiny toy size but it is absolutely wrong. We have many puppies only increase 1-2" and 10-30ozs from 3 months age to adult. 

🐾Do you give size guarantee?
Please keep in mind that it is always possible that a puppy ends up being smaller than anticipated or larger than our original estimated.  If your puppy ends up being smaller and falls into another size category, we will not charge you more.  If your puppy ends up being larger than anticipated and falls into another size category, we do not reimburse the difference in price.  Please keep in mind that these precious babies are living things and we do our very best to estimate their adult size. If you want to have a puppy to know the exact size it is best to have an adult so you know for sure.

Yes, Lilliput puppies are come with  health guarantee.

🐾Are your puppies registered and come with pedigree certificate? 
Yes, Lilliput puppies can register with Hong Kong Kennel Club and come with pedigree certificate without ownership transfer rights. It only be issued after the puppy has been neutered within 7 months old or spayed within 11 months old with a certificate by a Hong Kong licensed veterinary. Buyer is responsible for all handling charged by H.K.K.C. Hong Kong Kennel Club.

🐾Is it hard to take care of teacup puppies? 
There were so many rumors about teacups are hard to take care or weak and sick. Yes, they are more delicate and fragile since their bones and organs are petite but that does not mean they are weak. Granted, they need more careful when they play with other dogs due to the size difference, but other that that, taking care of these puppies are not different from taking care of regular size puppies. Many owners of teacups think that teacups size puppies are actually easier to take care of. There are not as much to clean up since their feces are smaller. There is no need of walking dogs in the rain or in cold weather since they can be training pad or paper trained easily at home.

🐾I heard teacups are die early! Is it true?
No. Life expectancy of true teacups are the same as regular size dogs. Just like humans, a dog's size can be varied. The size of the dog will not shorten their life. It is the same as saying that short people will die earlier! However. you will have to be more careful with teacup puppies because they are more fragile and petite, but they run, play, fetch, do tricks, etc. just like other dogs. 

🐾Why teacup puppies are expensive?
Teacups mother are usually have only 1 to 2 puppies per litter and come in season every 8 to 12 months. They require more attention in breeding than that of larger dogs. They have a much higher risk of needing C-section. The C-section also carries a higher risk of the mother and puppies dying. Even the mother survives the surgery, she may be unable to breed again afterwards. It costs more money, time and effort to obtain and breed quality tiny dogs. Our prices are based upon health, quality and rarity!
